Biobide’s presentation in World Preclinical Congress’ conference Predicting Drug Toxicity

World Preclinical Congress (WPC) is an annual event that focuses on newest trends and frontline technologies in drug discovery and translational research. This year, 17th WPC in Boston, USA, has brought more than 300 speakers and 1100 international delegates together, offering a unique opportunity to share knowledge and opinions in 18 conferences of different areas of research and development.

It was the third time for us to participate in WPC, yet this year’s congress was exceptionally busy for Biobide – we sponsored the event, gave a speech and presented our zebrafish services in a booth. The crown jewel of this year participation was the presentation that Biobide USA’s CEO Arantza Muriana gave about a case study carried out with National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) regarding the toxicity evaluation of various chemical compounds.  Ms. Muriana’s presentation focused on our terato-, hepato-, cardio-, neuro- and ototoxicity assays and formed a part of a conference “Predicting Drug Toxicity” where professionals from various areas of investigation could share their expertise.

If you were not able to attend our presentation or visit our booth in the WPC, please contact us via email clientes@biobide.es  to obtain more information or schedule a meeting with us.
